Meet Johanna Asterdal
Yoga teacher. Habit, energy & wellness coach. Former burnout survivor.
I’ve spent over 20 years teaching yoga. But it wasn’t until I hit a breaking point that I finally started applying it to my own life.
In the span of a year, I lost my dad to cancer. My husband burned out. My mum was diagnosed with dementia. My teenage daughters were struggling.
And I was pushing through all of it with zero support and no boundaries.
I wasn’t eating well. I wasn’t moving. I wasn’t resting.
I was surviving, barely—and I told myself I was fine.
Eventually I broke.
And that’s when everything changed.

The Slow Shift That Changed Everything
I didn’t heal overnight. I didn’t wake up one day full of motivation.
I took small steps. One habit at a time.
A short yoga session in the morning. A 10-minute walk outside.
An early night. A new boundary.
Those small shifts rebuilt my life.
Today, I feel calm, present, and proud of how far I’ve come—even if things aren’t perfect.
I still love snacks. I still take days off. I still hate cardio.
But I feel strong. I sleep better. I know how to reset when life gets hard.
And I want that for you, too.
